Margins are percentages of each page’s current crop area, so different page sizes stay proportional.

Crop is not redaction. This changes the PDF crop box, which can hide content outside the visible page area. The underlying content may remain in the file and could be revealed again in another PDF app. Do not use this tool to remove confidential information.

One PDF up to 20.0 MB and 500 pages. Generated output is capped at 100.0 MB. Vector text and graphics remain PDF content where the source format supports them. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.

Your PDF is processed locally in a browser Web Worker. It is not uploaded to EkkySoft, sent to analytics, or saved in browser storage.

  3. Download a cropped copy.

    The tool updates PDF crop boxes and saves a new file. The source PDF remains unchanged.

Supported file

Local processing

The PDF is held temporarily in browser memory and processed in a local Web Worker. EkkySoft does not receive the document through this tool, and the file is not saved to browser storage.

Document limitations

Cropping changes the CropBox only. Content outside the visible crop may still remain in the file; this feature is not secure redaction. Other forms, annotations, bookmarks, signatures, and metadata may be affected by saving.

Questions and troubleshooting.

Does cropping permanently delete hidden content?

No. This tool changes page crop boxes to hide content outside the visible area. Underlying content may remain in the PDF and could be revealed in another app.

Can I use this to redact private information?

No. Crop PDF is not secure redaction. Do not use it to remove confidential content. Use a trusted redaction tool that permanently removes and verifies the underlying data.

Can I crop pages with different sizes?

Yes. The same margin percentages are applied to each page's existing crop area, so dimensions remain proportional to each page.

Does cropping rasterize text or vector graphics?

No. The PDF remains vector content where supported; the tool changes each selected page's crop box.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. The PDF is processed locally in your browser, and the source file is not changed.
