Resize images by pixel.

Set the output width and height, fit the full image or adjust a crop for each file, and export JPG, PNG, or WebP. Resizing runs on your device without uploading images.

Fit keeps every pixel and may leave transparent space (or white for JPG). Choose Fill and crop to select an exact frame. Resizing changes pixel dimensions; it does not target a file size.

Choose up to five JPG, PNG, or WebP images.

Image queue

Your files stay on this device

Your selected images will appear here.

Each image is checked before it enters the queue.

Files are processed in a temporary browser worker and are not uploaded. Image metadata is not copied into the exported file.

How it works

Choose the frame before you save.

  1. Choose your images.

Select up to five JPG, PNG, or WebP files. The browser checks the file signature and pixel dimensions before decoding.

  2. Set the output size and crop.

Enter the final width and height, choose Fill and crop, then open Edit crop beside an image. Drag the white frame to position it and its round corner to resize it; the live preview shows what will be kept.

  3. Choose format and download.

Select JPG, PNG, or WebP. Review the actual dimensions and file size for each result before downloading.

Formats

Formats and behavior

JPG, PNG, and WebP are accepted. Output can be JPG, PNG, or WebP when the browser supports that encoder. PNG/WebP can preserve transparency; JPG composites onto white.

Privacy

Private browser processing

Images are decoded and resized in a temporary browser worker. EkkySoft does not receive the file. Canvas output does not copy source EXIF/GPS metadata.

Limits

Clear processing limits

Up to five images, 10 MB each, 25 MB combined, 16 megapixels per source and 30 megapixels across the batch. Output sides are limited to 4,096 pixels and 16 megapixels.

Help and troubleshooting

Check the dimensions and crop.

  • The output has empty space.Fit preserves the entire image inside the chosen dimensions. Use Fill and crop for an exact frame, then adjust the crop on each image if its subject is off-center.
  • The aspect ratio looks wrong. The lock uses the first valid image in the queue. For mixed batches, unlock it and select Fit to preserve each image's own proportions.
  • A format cannot be exported.Browser image encoders vary. Choose JPG or PNG if the selected WebP or PNG export is unavailable in your browser.

Common questions

Before you export an image.

Does this tool compress an image?

Its main job is changing pixel dimensions. Re-encoding can also change file size, but this tool does not promise a target size. Use the Image Compressor when byte size is your goal.

What does Fit do?

Fit scales the whole image inside the chosen width and height, keeping the full content. Remaining space is transparent for PNG/WebP and white for JPG.

How do I crop and resize with the preview?

Set the output width and height, choose Fill and crop, then open Edit crop beside the image. Drag inside the white frame to move it or drag its round corner to resize the crop. The live preview below shows the area that will be exported. Choose Resize when it looks right.

Are images uploaded or is EXIF retained?

No upload is made by this tool. Browser canvas encoding creates a new image and does not copy the source EXIF/GPS metadata.
