Watermark settings

Choose what to add and where it appears in the saved PDF.

Watermark type

Up to 200 characters on one line. Uses standard Helvetica; unsupported glyphs receive a clear error.

Enter page numbers or ranges, for example 1-5,8. Page numbers refer to the original PDF.

Placement frequency

The watermark is embedded in the exported PDF. It remains editable PDF content, so it is not a security or tamper-proof mark.

PDF is limited to 20.0 MB and 500 pages; generated output is capped at 100.0 MB. Text uses a built-in standard font. Saving may change forms, annotations, bookmarks, signatures, and some metadata.

PDF and watermark image are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded to EkkySoft or sent to analytics.

  3. Save the watermarked PDF.

Preview the result and download a new PDF with the watermark embedded as page content.

Supported file

Use one readable PDF up to 20 MB and 500 pages. Empty, damaged, encrypted, or password-protected documents are not supported. Generated output is capped at 100 MB. Text watermarks use the built-in standard font; image watermarks accept static JPG or PNG files up to 10 MB and 16 megapixels.

Local processing

The PDF is held temporarily in browser memory and processed in a local Web Worker. EkkySoft does not receive the document through this tool, and the file is not saved to browser storage.

Document limitations

The watermark is embedded as ordinary editable PDF page content, not tamper-proof. Saving can affect forms, annotations, bookmarks, signatures, and some metadata.

Questions and troubleshooting.

Is the watermark embedded in the file?

Yes. The watermark is drawn into the selected PDF pages and saved in the downloaded file. It is visible page content, not a tamper-proof security feature.

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes. Enter page numbers and ranges such as 1-5,8. You can repeat the mark on every selected page or place it once on the first selected page.

Which image files are supported?

Use one static JPG or PNG image up to 10 MB and 16 megapixels. Animated images and SVG are not supported.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The PDF and image watermark are processed locally in your browser. Saving may affect forms, annotations, bookmarks, signatures, and some metadata.
